Jeremiah 1:5 - Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you...
In His boundless grace and perfect providence, God blessed me with godly and loving parents and grandparents who dedicated their lives to ensuring I was raised to fear, worship, and serve Jesus. For as long as I can remember, they have been running a small non-denominational church. Through this calling, they were properly equipped and wholeheartedly committed to faithfully teaching me God's Word, leading me to receive Christ as my Savior and Lord, and training me to serve in our church. Through this upbringing, I was immensely blessed to receive from the Holy Spirit an incredibly thorough understanding of the Bible and how to live our new life in Christ. This understanding was only possible through the Holy Spirit's revelation and the tremendous sacrifices in time and energy my parents and grandparents dedicated to properly raising me.
At a young age, I felt God call me to preach in 2018 through a pastor requesting me to give a message. After that first sermon, I felt the Holy Spirit leading me to gain experience by writing short devotionals, which are essay-like writings covering specific Biblical topics. Today, I continue to serve Christ in preaching, music, evangelism, and writing.
For many years, I felt the Lord leading me to share my devotionals, sermons, and poems with others through email and GroupMe. However, in January 2025, He provided the opportunity to vastly increase the reach of these materials by building this website. For some time, I had wanted to do this and had desired to use the name "God's Thoughts." However, this domain was no longer available. This led to the selection of this site's current name, "Thinking with Christ," chosen for its stronger association with our new life in Christ as believers.
Thus, this website's purpose is to provide easy access to materials that lead the unsaved to salvation, teach believers Bible doctrine, and help them in their pursuit of sanctification and a deeper relationship with Christ.
This website's existence was made possible by the immense kindness of my best friend, who showed me how to purchase the domain name and graciously maintains the server that hosts this website.
