God Loves You

1. God’s heart has always overflowed with an unconditional, eternal, and unfailing love for you.

Psalm 139:13-14, “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”

1 John 4:9-10, “In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”

2. Although God knows your sins and failures, He deeply yearns for you to receive His mercy.

Ephesians 2:4-5, “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved.”

2 Peter 3:9, “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.”

3. God’s immeasurable love for you led His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for your sins, providing the only way to be rescued from the eternal punishment in hell His holiness demands for sin.

John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

Romans 5:8, “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

4. Because Jesus’ death has paid for all sin, God does not demand you earn your way to heaven; rather, He is actively knocking on the door of your heart, pleading for you to receive His free gift of salvation.

Ephesians 2:8-10, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”

Revelation 3:20, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.”

5. To be saved and enter heaven when you die, repent from your sins, place your faith in Jesus, and pray from a surrendered heart to receive Him as your Savior and Lord.

Acts 3:19, “Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.”

Romans 10:9-10, “Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.”

6. If you received His salvation, take joy in knowing that God has a perfect plan for your life and that He promises His love for you will never cease.

Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Lamentations 3:22-23, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
